PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a threshing apparatus designed to improve the recovery of free grains over rack existing in waste culms discharged from a waste culm chain of the apparatus. SOLUTION: This threshing apparatus 4 with a swing separatory shelf 3 under a threshing chamber 2 having a threshing cylinder 1 is characterized in that there is equipped a rotator 5 for recovering free grains over rack through contacting with threshed grain culms behind the threshing cylinder 1.
