GRAVITY SEPARATION AND RECOVERY APPARATUS OF COMPOSITE PLASTIC WASTE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gravity separation and recovery apparatus of a composite plastic waste which has a simple structure and is capable of decreasing the volume of recovered plastics by separating and removing adhering media from a floating material. SOLUTION: A floating material of mainly plastics is transported to a plastic recovery apparatus 43 through a tip end opened part 26a connected to the recovery apparatus 43 by a floating material transportation apparatus 38 in the inside of a casing 26 for a floating material connected to the upper part of a gravity separation tank 25. The plastic recovery apparatus 43 is provided with a squeezing roll apparatus 41, so that the floating material 44a to be transported from the tip end opened part 26a of the casing 26 for a floating material before squeezing is sandwiched between an upper roll 39 and a lower roll 40 to be compacted. Consequently, an adhering heat medium oil is separated from the floating material 44a of mainly plastics and the floating material 44a is decreased in volume. The assigned character 44b denotes the floating material of mainly plastics whose volume is decreased.
