<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alkylacetalized polyvinylalcohol resin hardly causing increase of viscosity when used as a binder resin for an ink or the like, to provide a method of producing the resin and to provide an ink using the resin. SOLUTION: This alkylacetalized polyvinylalcohol resin is synthesized by acetalization reaction of polyvinylalcohol with an aldehyde having a polymerization degree of 150 to 1000, acetalization degree of 60 mol% or more, and metallic ion concentration in the resin of 100 ppm or less.</p> |
