PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means capable of maintaining an appropriate curing environment for improved soils in the improvement of the soft ground and stably executing ground improvement having an excellent quality. SOLUTION: The ground 1 is excavated, a ground improvement method includes an improved soil formation process for forming the improved soils 2 by mixing earth and sand in the ground 1 with a hardener slurry 21 and a curing process for curing the ground 1 forming the improved soils 2 and covered with a curing sheet 3, and the improved soils 2 is hardened in the curing process to form an improved column body 4 in the ground 1. The curing sheet 3 incorporating a heating unit 16 thereinto is used, or the heating unit 16 is placed under the curing sheet 3 to cure the improved soils 2 while heating it. Alternatively, the hardener slurry 21 is heated to supply.
