<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser marking method for a silver product which is less contamination caused by silver oxide. SOLUTION: This method contains a process wherein a silver product 1 using silver at least on a surface layer part is irradiated with a first YAG laser L1, the silver on the surface layer part is melted, and a mark 3 is printed thereon, a process wherein periphery of a printed part is irradiated with a second YAG laser L2 having weaker energy than that of the first YAG laser L1, and silver oxide 4 adhered to the periphery of the printed part is spattered, and a process wherein the surface layer part of the silver product 1 is brushed or polished after forcing the silver oxide 4 to spatter by irradiating the second YAG laser L2.</p> |
