PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding ceiling material for an automobile having excellent foam retentivity to exhibit fine foam cell shapes, excellent thin moldability, a light weight and high rigidity and containing a foamed sheet of a high expansion ratio and a method for manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the molding ceiling material for the automobile comprises the steps of molding a propylene resin composition (A) made of a specific propylene block copolymer (A-1) and a specific propylene monopolymer (A-2) of 75 to 95 pts.wt., glass fibers (B) of 5 to 25 pts.wt., a composition for molding a foamable sheet containing a radical generating agent (C) of 0.01 to 0.1 pt.wt., a crosslinking assistant (D)of 0.1 to 5 pts.wt. and a foaming agent (E) of 2 to 5 pts.wt. to total amount of 100 pts.wt. of the (A) and the (B) in a sheet-like state at a temperature for not decomposing the (E), backing and integrating a backing material with one side surface of the obtained foamable sheet, then emitting an ionizing radiation to crosslink the sheet, then heating to foam the sheet, then placing a skin material before the sheet is cooled and solidified, and press molding the sheet. |
