JELLYFISH TREATMENT METHOD AND APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jellyfish treatment method capable of quickly and easily decomposing jellyfish by biological treatment which scarcely consumes thermal and electric energy in general and a jellyfish treatment apparatus suitable to carry out the treatment method. SOLUTION: While jellyfish decomposition bacteria being made surviving in a decomposition treatment liquid 9 in a reactor 4 equipped with a hollow fiber membrane 10 for microfiltration and the inside of the reactor 4 being kept in aerobic conditions, jellyfish, which is an object to be treated, is decomposed in the reactor 4 and the resulting liquid obtained by the decomposition is filtered by the hollow fiber membrane 10. The apparatus is to be used for carrying out such treatment.
