The molding 2 is extruded while continuously changing the width and the thickness of the decorative portion 21 at the upper molding section 2A and the side molding section 2C to continuously produce the molding 2 throughout the entire length without adding cutting or other processes, and during the continuous extrusion molding, a rainwater groove 28 is provided on the inner periphery wall of the enlarged thick section 21a of the decorative portion 21. The rainwater groove 28 having a good damming function is formed with high rigidity on the decorative portion 21 at the side molding section 2C. Furthermore, the decorative portion 21 at the upper molding section 2A where no rainwater groove is formed is made thin to achieve the light weight and cost reduction of the molding. This also ensures a good driving field of view, thereby improving safety. |
