摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a peptide and its pharmacologically acceptable salt which have a novel inhibition activity against TNF, or the like, inhibit apoptosis, inflammation, or the like, induced by TNF or the like, and are useful for the treatment of the disease caused thereby. SOLUTION: This peptide includes either one of the amino acid sequences derived from human: His Cys Leu Ser Cys Ser Lys Cys Arg Lys Glu Thr Gly Gln (sequence number: 1), Phe Cys Leu Arg Cys Thr Arg Cys Asp Ser Gly Glu Val Glu (sequence number: 2), Lys Cys Arg Arg Cys Arg Leu Cys Asp Glu Gly His Gly Leu (sequence number: 3), either one of the amino acid sequences to which one to three optional amino acids are added, either one of the amino acid sequences from which one to three optional amino acids are deleted, or either one of the amino acid sequences in which homologous substitution is carried out, and the peptide and its pharmacologically acceptable salts prevents the induction of the apoptosis, inflammation, or the like.
