PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slinger for machinery capable of preventing the leaking of lubricating oil along a structural body such as a vertical member constituting the machinery, and being arranged for easy mounting. SOLUTION: To prevent the leakage of lubricating oil used in machinery 1, the slinger 13 is constructed of a magnet 13A having a telescopic portion 13C, a portion of which telescopes or ruptures along the surface of a horizontal member 11 or the like constituting the machinery 1, to attract the member; and a cover 13B such as a bag of cloth for covering the surface of the magnet 13A. The slinger 13 is attached to the surface of the horizontal member 11 or the like by attraction.
