PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically scrap off the bran sticking to a rice milling basket. SOLUTION: This domestic rice milling machine 1 has a rice milling basket 20 which houses unpolished rice, a bran receiving case 31 which covers the outside surface of the rice milling basket 20 and receives the bran falling from the rice milling basket 20, a rubber ball 33 which is movably confined into the space formed between the rice milling basket 20 and the bran receiving case 31 and an energizing means which moves the rubber ball 33 so as to scrap off the bran sticking to the rice milling basket 20. The energizing means is a second rotary plate 34 which is horizontally rotatably disposed between the rice milling basket 20 and the bran receiving case 31. The second rotary plate 34 has a slope 38 which faces a rotating direction to spring out the rubber ball 33. The bran receiving case 31 has an opening 35 for discharging the bran and the second rotary plate 34 is constituted to feed the bran into the opening 35 by its centrifugal force or wind force.
