摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape printer which can simply and surely dispose of a cutting chip generated by forming and cutting to the outside of the apparatus. SOLUTION: A tape-forming/cutting mechanism 13 for forming and cutting corners of a printing tape 5 is built in an apparatus case 3 of the tape printer 1. There are provided a cutting chip tray 16 positioned below the tape-forming/ cutting mechanism 13 for receiving pieces 5a of the forming/cutting chip of the printing tape 5 and a tray draw-out opening 24 formed to a peripheral side face 3a of the apparatus case 3 for drawing the cutting chip tray 16 to the outside of the apparatus case 3.
