PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ink jet recorder in which high quality recording is ensured at all times by performing an appropriate ejection drive control depending on a replaced recording head. SOLUTION: An EEPROM 128 is provided on s substrate (PCB) 115 constituting a recording head and stored with driving conditions of the recording head or correction data of density variation. Use record data of the recording head, e.g. the number of print sheets and the number of times of ejection, is also stored and the driving conditions are updated depending on these record data. |
