PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a waste of printing paper and consequently reduce a printing cost and a waste of resources by a method wherein printing conditions for obtaining a proper dot gain is set without requiring excessive trial proofing. SOLUTION: A stencil printing method comprises a step (a) of obtaining the range ofΔ√Pt (Δ√Pt is represented by the function of a pressure welding force F and a printing speed f for realizing a proper dot gain, a step (b) of memorizing the range ofΔ√Pt controllable by a plate cylinder and a step (c) of making a user to select the pressure welding force F or the printing speed f from overlapped ranges when the ranges ofΔ√Pt obtained at the steps (a) and (b) overlap with each other.
