PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition useful as a polymer additive system and to provide its manufacturing method, and to obtain a polymer composition containing a polymer component and one or more polymer additive systems and to provide its preparation method. SOLUTION: This polymer additive system contains a liquid component and a solid component, with the solid component accounting for more than 50% by weight. The additive system can be produced by a process comprising the step of providing an aqueous emulsion polymerization reaction mixture containing polymer particles and the step of polymerizing an ethylenically unsaturated monomer in the mixture.
