PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a hanger for Japanese-style clothing which is long-sized in a lateral direction in such a manner that the hanger can be compactly housed by dividing components by six to pieces and can be easily assembled. SOLUTION: This hanger consists of a main hanger body 1, first arms 2L and 2R, second arms 3L and 3R and a obi (kimono sash) hanger 5. The obi hanger 5 has ring members 17L and 17R respectively at its left and right ends. The left end of the right side first arm 12R is fitted onto a first connecting piece 11 annexed to the right end of the main hanger body 1 in the state of fitting the right side ring member 17R of the obi hanger 5 to a first connecting piece 11. Next, a second connecting piece 13 of the left side first arm 2L is fitted into the left side ring member 17L of the obi hanger 5 and is then fitted into the left end of the main hanger body 1. Finally, the second arms 3L and 3R are joined and connected across third connecting pieces 15 and 15 to the light and left first arms 2L and 2R respectively.
