PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pump gate which can be installed even at a place where the height limitation is set such as an underground pit. SOLUTION: Through-holes 12 and 12 in up-down direction (vertical shaft direction) are provided at both the right and left end portions fitted in guide trenches 4A and 4A of a gate 4 at the water stop gate door body 5, a nut 13 (female screw top) is assembled in a manner not permitting the rotation and rise and fall around the shaft at the through-holes 12 and 12 in the up-down direction (vertical shaft direction), and spindles 14 and 14 provided with a male thread portion 14a in a region longer than the dimension of these through holes 12 and 12 in the vertical direction are screwed to the female screw top 13 and inserted in a freely rotatable manner. The upper end portions of the spindles 14 and 14 respectively penetrated through the top floor 2A of a water gate column 2 and are assembled to tow units of water stop gate door body opening and closing means 10 and 10 installed to the top floor 2A in a manner permitting the rotation around the shaft and not permitting the rise and fall.
