PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exterior emblem for a vehicle capable of improving weather resistance, improving design, and achieving low cost. SOLUTION: In this external emblem for a vehicle, a resin film 2 is applied to the surface of adhesive 1 of a double coated tape or the like, and a transparent resin film 4 of polyethylene terephthalate or the like provided with an aluminum deposited layer 4a on the back and a mark or pattern 4b formed of water-resistant ink on the surface is applied to the surface of the resin film 2 through adhesive 3 having water resistance. On the surface of the transparent resin film 4, a transparent resin layer 5 is formed by depositing transparent polyurethane resin which is set at room temperature.
