<p>PURPOSE:To provide a cover opening/closing device which is easily incorporated into a device without being troubled by the relative positions of each member with excellent appearance by incorporating each member in a case as a unit. CONSTITUTION:An opening/closing device 1 is permitted to energize a cover, which is arranged to freely turn, in an opening direction and to control the opening speed of the cover. The device 1 is fixed by a front-open case 2 mounted on the opening side of a device, a rack member 3 which freely moves to the front and rear for the prescribed distance in the case 2, a spring means 4 which energizes the rack member 3 to the case opening side, an arm 5 connected to freely turn on the front side of the rack member 3 with its free edge protruding from the case opening and the case 2. A damper 6 provided with a pinion that meshes with the teeth of the rack member 3 is provided and the free edge of the arm 5 is connected to the back plane of the cover.</p> |
