APPARATUS FOR CORRECTING UPPER AND LOWER DISTORTION OF SLIT BOBBIN TYPE DEFLECTION YOKE

PURPOSE: An apparatus for correcting upper and lower distortion of a slit bobbin type deflection yoke is provided to correct the distortion generated on an upper portion and a lower portion of a screen by using compensation power without forming a magnet for compensating distortion at a horizontal coil. CONSTITUTION: A first horizontal coil(10) is used for deflecting electron beams by the generation of magnetic field. A second horizontal coil(20) is used for generating the compensation power by auxiliary magnetic field since a winding direction of the second horizontal coil(20) is opposite to the winding direction of the first horizontal coil(10). The compensation power is generated according to the winding amount of the second horizontal coil(20) in order to control a vertical component of force.
