PURPOSE: A brush type vacuum cleaner is provided to effectively remove dust or impurities, to reduce the noise and to improve the convenience of use by utilizing a plastic box filter. CONSTITUTION: A brush type vacuum cleaner includes a fan motor(5) for rotating a suction fan(4). Air wind generated by the suction fan(4) cools the fan motor(5). Air wind flows to an outer brush type suction device(22) and an inner brush type suction device(17) and returns to the suction fan(4) through an outer discharging pipe(9), an inner discharging pipe(8), an outer suction pipe(10) and an inner suction pipe(12). The inner discharging pipe(8) and the inner suction pipe(12) are branched before the outer discharging pipe(9) and the outer suction pipe(10) are protruded out of a body(1). A discharging pipe control valve(7) and a suction pipe control valve(6) are provided to selectively change air flow based on the user's choice.
