PURPOSE: An external type memory device for a computer is provided to decrease a size while increasing a memory capacity. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of metal lines(261) is adhered on one side surface of the first printed circuit board(211) in the vertical direction. Semiconductor memory devices(M1) for storing each data are mounted at the upper surface and the lower surface of the first printed circuit board(211). Lines(271) are formed in the first printed circuit board(211) according to a design pattern for connecting the semiconductor memory devices(M1) to the metal lines(261). A plurality of metal lines(263) is adhered on one side surface of the second printed circuit board(212) in the vertical direction. Semiconductor memory devices for storing each data are mounted at the upper surface and the lower surface of the second printed circuit board(212). Lines are formed in the second printed circuit board(212) according to a design pattern for connecting the semiconductor memory devices to the metal lines(263). A plurality of metal lines(265) is adhered on one side surface of a substrate(221) in the vertical direction. The substrate(221) is mounted between the first printed circuit board(211) and the second printed circuit board(212). The metal lines(261,263,265) are arranged in the vertical direction and electrically connected by solder, respectively. A connector(251) is mounted between the first printed circuit board(211) and the second printed circuit board(212). A semiconductor device(111) is mounted in the printed circuit board having the connector(251).
