摘要 PURPOSE: A magnetic particle type braking device is provided to precisely maintain a predetermined micro space between an inner periphery of a stator and an outer periphery of a damper for obtaining uniform braking force corresponding to a current flowing along a coil. CONSTITUTION: A magnetic particle type braking device includes an annular stator(1) incorporating a coil, a damper(5) of which an outer peripheral surface faces an inner peripheral surface of the stator at a predetermined distance, second and third brackets(4,8) for connecting and fixing the stator, a rotation shaft(12) mounted in the center of a concentric circle of the stator and a damper, a rotator(10) facing an inner peripheral surface of the damper at outer peripheral surface, a connection element(11) connecting the rotator to the rotation shaft integrally, and magnetic particles(7) filled in a space formed between the inner peripheral surface of the damper and the outer peripheral surface of the rotator, wherein the stator and the damper are connected and coupled with the second or third bracket or both of the second and third brackets, and the second and third brackets are formed of aluminium.
