PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disc recording method, and optical disc reproducing method that can record several line data on one track and reproduce the several line data, and an optical recording medium and an optical disc device utilizing its method. SOLUTION: The optical disc device that radiates laser light onto the track of the optical disc forming several recording mark lines 37 and 38 in one track 36 and reproduces data recorded in the track 36, has a luminous flux irradiation means for reading that drives one laser light source and radiates a beam of light 35 for reading onto the one track 36, a signal reproducing means that generates and mixes the reflected light of several recording mark lines 37 and 38 simultaneously and reproduces a signal changing according to a state of the several recording mark lines, a demodulating means that demodulates the data recorded on the track 36 from the reproduced signal according to a given decoding algorithm.
