PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of an optical radio unit that heat dissipating mechanism cannot be eliminated or simplified, and reduction in size, weight or power consumption is difficult. SOLUTION: A control section 11 is connected with a temperature detector 12, disposed in the vicinity of a light-emitting element 14. The control section 11 monitors temperature rise of the light-emitting element 14 through the temperature detector 12 and interrupts transmission/reception of data on the trunk 4 and the optical space side, when the detected temperature exceeds a prescribed threshold level. |
