PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide capacity of a fuel cell system at a maximum level and at the same time, prevent the damages to the fuel cell. SOLUTION: An air relief valve 27 which is for discharging air within an air supply passage 21 to the outside at a pressure higher than the maximum requirement pressure, taking into consideration a humidifier 15 and the fuel cell 3, but lower than the maximum allowable pressure ensuing no damages to the humidifier 15 and the fuel cell 3 is installed between the humidifier 15 and a filter 25 of the air supply passage 21, through which air compressed with a compressor 19 and supplied to the fuel cell 3 is passed. A fuel relief valve 13 which ich for discharging fuel at a pressure higher than the maximum requirement pressure as the fuel cell system but lower than the maximum allowable pressure is installed in a fuel supply passage 5, through which hydrogen pressure-controlled with a pressure control valve 9 and supplied to the fuel cell 3 is passed. |
