PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow an accurate catching of the latest advertisement and to allow a survey a large number of subscribers at a low cost in an advertisement viewing effect evaluation system. SOLUTION: In the system, at the home of the subscriber, the state of viewing of the subscriber is measured as the combination of viewing time and viewed channel to be outputted as viewing information signal, and also product purchase information including the date of purchase of the product by the subscriber and product identifying information is gathered to be outputted as purchase information signal. On the other hand, a center detects the times when the advertisements are broadcasted and the advertisement identifying information from broadcasting signal at every broadcasting station to output advertisement broadcasting time signals and also inputs the viewing information signals, the purchase information signals and the advertisement broadcast time signal to collate the viewing information signals against the time signals, furthermore, the center extracts the identifying information viewed by the subscribers to evaluate the viewing effect of the advertisement by comparing and analyzing the contents of extracted advertisement and the purchase information signals of the subscribers who received the advertisement. |
