PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of transmission being performed, after waiting for data which arrive delayed from one system more than the first arrived data to the maximum, the starting time of the transmission becomes late. SOLUTION: When the first arrived data are received (S1) and it is discriminated that one system is not abnormal (S2) at starting of digital protective relay system, a timer (for maximum reception delay time T) which waits for a fixed period of time after the point of time the system is discriminated as normal is actuated (S3) on the transmission side. Thereafter, the transmission side waits for a time-out or the reception of data from the system and, upon receiving the data (S4), measures a time (t) from the reception of the first arrived data to the reception of second arrived data (S5), sets the next timeout time T to (t+α) (S6), and conducts transmission (S7). This procedure also includes the setting of the timeout time T by finding the mean value of a plurality of first performed times, so that thereafter, the value will not be changed. |
