PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an array antenna receiver which has a high calibration precision and can carry out calibration normally even if a failure exists in a specifice wireless reception unit. SOLUTION: Multiplexed calibration signals of prescribed symbol patterns from multiplexing circuits 103 are inputted to wireless reception units 104, the calibration signals transmitted through the wireless reception units 104 are extracted by a calibration signal extraction unit 110, the wireless reception unit with the most satisfactory reception quality is obtained by an SIR detection unit 111 according to the calibration signals, the obtained wireless reception unit is selected as a reference branch, and reception directivity patterns are corrected by phase differences and amplitude ratios between the calibration signals transmitted through another wireless reception unit and the calibration signal transmitted through the reference branch.
