PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain the purpose inherent in an LNG vaporizer, that is, to vaporize LNG, and further simply and efficiently utilize the cold of LNG to generate power. SOLUTION: A vaporizer for LNG has high-temperature fluid flow paths, formed outside a flow path wall forming an LNG flow path. A thermoelectric conversion element, formed by alternately coupling together n-type oxide thermoelectric conversion materials and p-type oxide thermoelectric conversion materials, is placed on the inner face or outer face of the flow path wall of the LNG flow path, so that LNG can be vaporized and at the same time, electric power can be extracted.
