PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underwater receiver which extremely reduces change of a contact condition between an oscillator and a structure and extremely reduces degradation or change of the acoustic capacity due to water pressure. SOLUTION: The underwater receiver is provided with a cylindrical oscillator 11 and a buffer part A between flanges 17 and 14 formed on and under the cylindrical oscillator 11 and covers 19 and 16.
