The cover consists of a series of upright frame members (14, 18) round the outside of the pool, having more or less horizontal upper extensions (16, 20) meeting at the top. The upright members have pairs of grooves (24, 26) in their facing sides to receive panels (28) with upper sections that can be moved vertically as required, sliding under fixed top panels (34) held in place by fastening members (32). The cover panels are made from a transparent and flexible polymerised synthetic resin.
