<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system which enable easy certification of degree of long-term nursing care needs of an elderly person. SOLUTION: The method for certifying nursing care insurance qualification is for certifying the degree of long-term nursing care needs of a patient, on the basis of the practical evaluation mark of each of a plurality of evaluation items about the patient and in the method, a plurality of patterns of the reference degree of long-term nursing care needs, based on the virtual standard mark of each evaluation mark and an index of degree of long-term nursing care needs for typifying each of the patterns are held in advance. A function in which the evaluation items are defined as a variable xi is prepared, and the pattern of the reference degree of long-term nursing care needs for the degree index of long-term nursing care needs, having a value close to the variable xi of the function obtained by substituting the practical evaluation mark for the variable xi of the function, is selected. Deviation between the virtual standard mark of the selected pattern of the reference degree of long-term nursing care needs and the practical evaluation mark is calculated, and the index of degree of long-term nursing care needs which corresponds to one of the patterns of the reference degree of long-term care need where the deviation becomes minimum is defined as the index of degree of long-term nursing care needs regarding the patient.</p> |
