PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-temperature control element for an oxide superconducting device where a Peltier element is well jointed to an oxide superconducting material, while temperature-controlling ability and followup ability are satisfactory, to raise cooling efficiency for high practicality usage. SOLUTION: An n-type thermoelectric conversion material and a p-type thermoelectric conversion material are connected alternately. Here, an n-type oxide thermoelectric material is used as the n-type thermoelectric conversion material, while a p-type oxide thermoelectric material is used as the p-type thermoelectric conversion material. A heat-absorbing contact-point side or heat- radiation contact-point side abuts against a cooled part of the oxide superconducting device for thermal junction.
