PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit video data by controlling usage band of communication cable mounted on a vehicle. SOLUTION: In an on-vehicle video data transmitting system, a front monitor, a rear monitor, a back camera and a DVD player are connected to a cable with transmittable capacity on the order of 20 Mbps. During transmission of compressed data at 20 Mbps from the DVD player of a slave device to the front monitor of a master device and to the rear monitor of a spare master device, if a back gear signal responding to a shifting to a back gear is inputted to the master device, the master device control video data to output from the DVD player to set at 10 Mbps and control video data to output from the back camera to the front monitor to set at 10 Mbps.
