PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna for a radio communication base station, capable of controlling the radiation direction of radio waves on real-time basis. SOLUTION: A radio communication base station antenna 10 for a radio communication system is provided which comprises a plurality of radio communication base stations 21 and a plurality of radio communication terminals. The radio communication base station antenna 10 comprises a plurality of directional antenna elements 3a-3h. The pseudo transmission signal from a transmitter 7 of the radio communication base station 21 is inputted in a calibration signal receiver 22 via the directional antenna elements 3a-3h, directional couplers 20a-20h, and a power divider 23, while the fed electric power and phase to the directional antenna elements 3a-3h are monitored, to accurately control the radiation direction of the radio wave on real-time basis.
