<p>Conventionally, it takes a lot of work and time to carry out alteration of a disc access unit so as to continuously transfer AV data without discontinuation. A recording/reproducing apparatus is characterized in that the apparatus comprises an HDD (2) for writing AV data in a recording medium, an AV recording/reproducing HDD controller (3) for controlling the HDD (2) in order that, when an error of write of AV data has occurred in a disc access unit, i.e., a minimum unit at which the recording medium is accessed continuously, the disc access unit may be skipped, namely, the AV data may be written not in the disc access unit but in the next disc access unit, and a skip judging means (5), and the recording medium has no alteration area.</p> |
