technology of water treatment. SUBSTANCE: relation relates to methods of complex treatment by ozonization and with silver and copper ions. Method can be used for drinking water disinfection in water supply systems of towns and other settlements and for disinfection of reservoir return water also. Method of water disinfection involves its treatment with oxidizing agent followed by addition of silver and copper ions produced in dissolving of their salts. Ozone is used as an oxidant that is added to water in the amount 0.5-1 mg/l. Then water is kept for 0.2-2 h followed by dosing silver salt addition by means a single device up to the concentration of Ag+ ions in water = 0.005-0.01 mg/l followed by addition of copper salt to obtain the concentration of Cu2+ ions = 0.05-0.5 mg/l. The preferable ozonization process is to be carrying out at water temperature 10-20 C and oligodynamic treatment at 20-30 C and at pH = 6.5-8.5. Method provides the possibility of prevention of the secondary bacterial infection of water for the prolonged time (for a month, not less).
