PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fingerprint-collating system and its method capable of reducing the load on the collating work for a plurality of fingerprints. SOLUTION: This fingerprint-certifying system comprises user of a fingerprint- reading terminal, a fingerprint storage device and a fingerprint-collating device for certifying the fingerprints. The fingerprint-reading terminal has package collation requesting means for transmitting the plurality of read fingerprints in package to the fingerprint collating device and requesting package collation. The fingerprint-collating device has package collation means for collating in package the plurality of fingerprints read by the fingerprint-reading terminal and the fingerprints registered by the fingerprint storage device, after receiving the package collation request from the fingerprint reading terminal. The fingerprint storage device stores the plurality of fingerprints related to specified individuals. |
