PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that the relay is not energized and the whole communication system stops its operation if the power line switch for the illumination wall receptacle is cut off. SOLUTION: A relay 101 having an illuminator 103 is composed of a primary power supply rectifier circuit 104 energized through the power line and a secondary power supply 105 energized and charged by the primary power supply rectifier circuit 104. When the primary power supply rectifier 104 fails, the secondary power supply 105 is discharged to supply dc power 107 to the communication circuit 106 to prevent its failure and to protect communication.
