PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically create cam data which actualizes a smooth cam curve having no acceleration at a specific point without requiring any special technique. SOLUTION: A set-value automatic creation part 15 finds gradients of an optimum cam curve supposed to be actualized by specific points. Then cam curves which each have no acceleration at two specific points are automatically found first by sections each having the specific points as start and end points respectively by using the values of the gradients and a previously set expression and lastly, the cam curves found by the sections are put together to obtain the whole cam curve.
