<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facility operation managing system with superior reliability and stability which can secure normal operation even in environment wherein there is equipment consuming large electric power without being affected by electromagnetic noise. SOLUTION: This facility operation managing system, having multiple controllers 5-1 which are provided by facilities 7-1 mounted with availability meters 20-1 and sending operation information out and gather operation information from the respective availability meters 20-1, a host controller 2 which monitors the respective controllers 5-1 and gathers information from the controllers, and a host computer 1 which controls the whole system and stores the information from the host controller 2, is provided with an optical communication means including optical cables 9-1, 8-1, and 3-1 transmitting information between the availability meters 20-1 of the facilities 7-1 and the controllers 5-1, and the controllers 5-1 and host controller 2 by optical communication.</p> |
