<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a conversion method of motion vector capable of enhancing coding efficiency of image coding of MPEG4 in a conversion method of image coding format. SOLUTION: From a bit stream of input image coding of MPEG2, I frame and P frame of the bit stream are extracted, after that, with abandoning the I frame or the P frame at every other piece, a bit stream of output image coding of MPEG4 having one-fourth of vertical/horizontal resolution of respective vertical/horizontal resolution of the bit stream of input coding is acquired, and with performing a time correcting processing to expand in two times in the direction of time of the motion vector of the P frame of the bit stream of output image coding which is encoded immediately following the I frame or P frame to be abandoned, a motion vector of 8×8 of the bit stream of output image coding is acquired.</p> |
