<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile server that can inform a notice destination about a facsimile transfer result in compliance with a protocol desired by a mail server. SOLUTION: When the mail server 2 instructs the facsimile server 1 on transfer of a facsimile document by means of electronic mail, the mail server 2 attaches information of a notice protocol and the notice destination to the main text of the electronic mail and when the facsimile server 1 informs the notice destination about the result of transfer, the facsimile server 1 informs the notice destination received by the electronic mail in compliance with the notice protocol received by the electronic mail.</p> |
