PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new remote putting on and taking off plug wherein even if positions of plug and receptacle are deviated to some extent, their putting on and taking off work can be surely performed from a remote position. SOLUTION: At a plug main body 12 removed from the receptacle 7 fixed in a cell S sunder highly radioactive rays, a handling lever 14 in order to handle by a power manipulator P is installed in advance or retreat possible and swinging possible, and an elastic coiled spring 18 is installed between that handling lever 14 and the plug main body 12. By this, even if the positions of the plug and the receptacle are deviated to some extent, their putting on and taking off work can be easily and surely achieved by a remote operation control, because an unreasonable force becomes not to be added between the both or the like.
