PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure cooling capability and reduce cost for manufacturing the mold responding easily to various fan variations. SOLUTION: In an ac generator for vehicle, a plurality of blade pieces 41 (in the present example 12 pieces) are fixed on the end surfaces of magnetic pole iron core 3a which composes rotator 3 so as to discharge in circumferential and mainly centrifugal directions with a rotator shaft 6 as a center and a cooling fan 12a is composed of the assembly these blade pieces 41. The blade piece 41 is die formed piece by piece by pressing or the like, which has generally L shaped cross-section and is provided with a mounting surface 42 to be connected with the end face of the rotator (in fact, the end face of the magnetic pole iron core 3a) and with a blade face 43 formed by bending generally at right angle against the mounting surface 42. The blade piece 41 is jointed to the end face of the rotator by welding on its mounting surface 42 at two spots.
