CAMERA SYSTEM OF FREELY MOVING VIEW POINT AND VISUAL LINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain video information corresponding to the movement of a user by mounting a video camera at a distance to a mobile robot and varying its position (view point) and attitude (visual line) corresponds which to moving of a user. SOLUTION: This system is provided with a mobile robot for mounting camera equipment for varying the position (view) of the video camera, ID tags arranged at prescribed intervals on a floor on which the user moves and transmitting characteristic ID data, an ID reader fitted to the user to receive the ID data and an ID data processing means for converting positional information of a user, based on a mapping table for making correspondence of the ID data and a spatial position on the floor. Thus, the variation of the positional information of the user is converted to the moving information of the mobile robot while making correspondence of the position of the user and the position of the video camera mounted to the mobile robot to control the movement of the view of the video camera.
