PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication unit and its data reception control processing method that can relieve a load on data reception processing and enhance memory utilizing efficiency, and to provide a storage medium. SOLUTION: In the case of data communication through the communication of a frame 2 consisting of a frame header part 201, a parameter part 206 and a data part 207, the communication unit first receives the frame header part 201, does not execute reception of the parameter part 206 when detecting absence of a parameter set to the parameter part 206 as a result of analyzing essential information set to the frame header part 201, and does not receive the data part 207 as its control when detecting absence of data set to the data part 207.
