The invention concerns a method for making dental prostheses and temporary prostheses. The inventive method for making dental prostheses comprises the production of an exact replica of the tooth to be reconstructed, the setting of a connector yoke made of heat-shrinkable polymeric material around said impression and shrinking said ring around said impression, by heating. The invention is characterised in that it consists in producing at least an incision on said ring, after shrinking. The invention is in particular applicable in the production of dental prostheses.
