<p>An apparatus and method for/of monitoring, regulating and controlling alternating current (AC) supply to electrical loads (7) in a building is disclosed. It includes a first system which detects the power faults in individual loads (7) and transmits a signal to a processing unit where the signals are processed. It optionally includes a second system means comprising of central intelligence unit to verify data, carry out diagnosis and pre-designated tasks. A signal from the first system means is sent to and received by the second system means which calls up one or more pre-designated recipients to report the power fault and provide full information about the fault and status of the load (7) and whereby the recipient can verify the power fault, status of the loads (7) and issue switching instructions to the first system means through the second system means.</p> |
